Pssst…Want to hear a well-kept secret? It really is all about you. Sure, it’s all about telling your story, but it’s also about making your life a little easier in the process. And wouldn’t ease and convenience be a refreshing respite in your day?

The writing process is simple:

  1. I tailor my services for your needs and goals. An initial interview will help define your requirements and the best ways to reach your audience.
  2. I provide a Project Estimate and Scope of Work that includes writing timelines required to get the job done.
  3. You provide the required 50% deposit.
  4. I get moving on fact-gathering, research and, of course, writing.
  5. You receive a draft that's on-time and on-target with the message you want to tell the world.

Working Together

Over the years, I've found that smooth, enjoyable work relationships start with defining expectations upfront. Below are my thoughts on what makes a great professional relationship. Read on to see if we're "on the same page." If so, please let me know. I'd love to contribute to your efforts!

I actively seek out ongoing, collaborative relationships with my clients.
I value the relationships in my life and enjoy investing in people. So whether you're family, a friend or a client (and yes, some clients have become friends), I like knowing what's going on with you, your business and the things that interest you, if you choose to share them.

Trust is a key ingredient for any successful relationship. I want you to confidently hand projects to me knowing they'll be done correctly and on-time. I know how to get up-to-speed quickly in order to become a reliable member of your team.

Speaking of teams, working as a team includes being responsive and decisive. That means we're both committed to hitting deadlines (yours and mine) and making timely decisions to keep writing projects on track.

My clients and I are big fans of brainstorming innovative solutions. If you're open to tossing around a few ideas that could lead to big results, we'll have an enjoyable time working together.

I work virtually with my clients, even the local ones. Sure, I'm available for in-person meetings but let's be honest:  Don't you generally find it easier to just call or email?

In addition to the phone and email, you can generally find me on Skype during business hours. We can have a quick chat or, if you need to see my bright, smiling face in a meeting, we can teleconference via webcam.

I view a sense of humor as a prerequisite to our relationship.
I don't know about you, but I like having fun when I work. That's one of the main reasons I started my writing business in 1999. I work with quality clients who are committed to the task-at-hand but who also laugh easily and often...even when deadlines are tight.
